Waterfront Adventure Centre

On July 1st, 1902 the original Sault Boating Club opened at 18 McPhail Avenue in Sault Ste Marie. In 2014, the property was gifted to Sault College by Dr. Lou and Mae Lukenda. Visit the Franklin Prouse Centre and fully licensed Café today!

The Waterfront Adventure Centre is owned and operated by Sault College, and is an inclusive space for the community. Memberships are available, but not required. All rentals can be done on a pay per use basis for non-members. Sault College students receive a membership with a valid student card.

 Facilities:

  • Tennis courts
  • Pickleball courts
  • Beach Volleyball court
  • Canoes, kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards
  • Ziibi Café (fully licensed), located on site in the Franklin Prouse Building with fresh food, coffee and desserts…..and the best waterfront view in the Sault!
