Sault College adds another top recruit with the signing of Cecilia Holzwarth for the 2019-20 basketball season.

A White Pines graduate; Cecilia was the teams' most valuable player for the last two seasons. 

 

Cecilia is a selfless team first player who will do whatever it takes to help her team succeed. 

Over the last two years, she led the Wolverines in points, assists and steals. 

 

Cecilia's High School Coach Wendy Basawa stated "Cecilia is an athlete with a lot of natural talent. Throughout her years at White Pines she learned to become a strong leader who led by example with her strong work ethic and fierce determination. I have no doubt she will continue to work hard at the next level and with her work ethic, she will be successful in College off and on the court". 

 

Cecilia will give the Cougars great depth at the guard position for the 2019 - 2020 season. Her ability to thrive for constant improvement with her attention to details will allow her to develop into a solid basketball player for the Cougars. 

 

The college is absolutely thrilled about Cecilia wearing the blue and white for the upcoming season!
