Sault Cougar's Men's Soccer Coach Steps Down

After 7 years at the helm of the Sault College's Men's soccer program Joe Ceglie has decided to step away from the program.  Ceglie began his coaching career at Sault College in the 2013 - 2014 season with the indoor program.  Ceglie grew the indoor program into a contender during his time at Sault College, culminating in an impressive tournament championship at Georgian College in 2018.  Ceglie was also a huge advocate of expanding Soccer at Sault College and helped bring the program to OCAA outdoor competition this past season.

Longtime assistant coach Scott Davie who worked with Ceglie from 2014 until 2019 described the soccer coach like this. "Joe has a big heart and always treated the team as a big family. He liked to have fun and gave 100% to the College program; he will be missed for sure."

Manager of Athletics Paul Orazietti continued by adding, "Joe is a passionate, dedicated coach who loves the game.  We were fortunate to have had him here at the College and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.

The search for his replacement will begin immediately with the hopes of naming a new Cougar's Head coach before Christmas.
