Davie, Webb named Sault College Athletes of the Week

Men's soccer player Brett Davie and women's soccer player Hannah Webb were named Sault College's Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 13, 2022. 

Davie, a fourth-year defence from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., studying Mechanical Engineering, played every minute of each game at the OCAA Indoor Regional Championships on March 9th. Davie was a key player, only allowing 2 goals in 3 games as a defensive player. With a 1-1-1 record at Regionals, the Cougars will advance to the Indoor Provincial Championships at the end of the month. 

Webb, a second-year defence from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., studying Civil Engineering, has been a standout player for the Cougars and a leader on and off the field. Although their record was 0-2-0 at the OCAA Indoor Regional Championships, the program continues to grow with Webb's dedication and commitment to the team.
