Curling Team Takes the Ice at Soo Fall Classic

The varsity curling team is participating in the Soo Fall Classic at the Soo Curlers Club this weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

The 21-team tournament begins Thursday morning when the Cougars take on Team Kean at 9:00 am. Additional matches will be determined following the game. Notable players competing this weekend include Olympians Brad Jacobs, Joel Retornaz, and John Shuster, as well as 3-time Brier medalist and Grand Slam Champion Matt Dunstone, 3-time Brier medalist and World Champions Reid Carruthers, and 4-time Canadian and World Champion Glenn Howard, who also holds 14 Grand Slam titles.
