Men's Curling Faces Challenges at Capital Curling Valley Open

This past weekend, the men's curling team travelled to Ottawa, ON for the Capital Curling Valley Open. Although the team was unable to secure a win, it gave them four games to further develop for the season. 

In their first game, the Cougars faced off against Team Lachance. The team struggled to gain momentum, with Team Lachance taking an early lead and maintaining control throughout the game. The Cougars managed to score 2 points, but Team Lachance dominated, finishing with a final score of 9-2.

The second game featured Sault College against Team Broder. This time,the Cougars put up a more competitive performance, but Team Broder managed to secure the victory. The final score was 5-2 in favor of Team Broder.

Sault College faced Team Lefebvre in their third game. Unfortunately, they had difficulty finding their groove, and Team Lefebvre took advantage of the situation. Team Lefebvre displayed a strong performance, winning the game with a final score of 9-1.

In their final game of the weekend, Sault College battled against Team Bryant. Despite their best efforts, the Cougars faced a challenging opponent in Team Bryant, who proved to be the stronger team. Team Bryant secured the win with a final score of 9-3.

Overall, the Sault College men's curling team faced tough competition over the weekend. They managed to secure 2 points in Game 2 but faced an uphill battle in the other games. The team will look to regroup and work on their strategies for future matches.
