Gallivan wins Baseball Team MVP Honours

Men's Baseball player Carter Gallivan was anmed Team MVP for the 2023-2024 season last week at Sault Colelge's annual Athletics Awards Banquet. Gallivan is a first year Business Administration student from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Carter started the season an Infielder/Pitcher but as the season played out he emereged as one of our more dominant pitchers. He was one of the main reasons that we were in the running for a playoff spot until late in the season. In 22.1 innings pitched he struck out 21 batters while only walking 7. His WHIP of .94 put him 5th best in the 10 team OCAA. Combined with a 2.51 ERA, good for 7th best in the league and an average of 6.58 strikeouts per game Carter became our most consistent starter. Carter and the team are looking for a playoff berth in 2024.
