Cougars Hockey Prepares for Regional Playoffs!
Cougars Hockey begins its quest for Nationals this weekend.
After finishing their season with a 22-5-0 record, good for the #8 seed, the Men’s varsity hockey team heads to Grand Rapids for the central regional tournament. The Cougars will open their tournament against #13 seed Drury University on Friday February 23rd at 11:00AM. The quarterfinals will be held Saturday February 24th, and the national qualifying round is going on Sunday February 23rd. All games can be streamed online at flohockey.tv with a paid subscription.
The Women’s Cougars hockey team finished their season with an overall record of 20-1-0 in conference play, good for 1st place in the Central division. The Cougars will travel to Crystal Fieldhouse in Burton, Michigan as they look secure a top seed for the National Championship tournament. Their regular season success earned them a bye into the semifinals of the regional tournament with puck drop scheduled for 5:30PM on Saturday, February 24th. The finals are slated for Sunday February 25th at 12:00PM. All games will be available for streaming on flohockey.tv with a paid subscription.
