Jameus, Groleau names Sault College Freshii Athletes of the Week
Men’s Hockey player Nick Jameus & Women’s Hockey player Jasmine Groleau have been named Sault College’s Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 25, 2024.
Jameus, a first year Sports Administration student from Sault Ste. Marie, ON was a catalyst for the Cougars attack at Regional Playoffs over the weekend. Jameus controlled the neutral zone and set up his teammates for several grade A scoring chances. Great season Nick!
Groleau, a 3rd year Natural Environment Technician from Timmins, Ontario starred over the weekend as she led the Women’s hockey team to a CCWHA Championship. Groleau recorded a hat-trick in the semi-finals, and added a goal in the finals as she led the way for the Cougars. Groleau and the Cougars will now shift their focus to the National Championship in St. Louis March 11th-16th. Great work Jasmine!
