Bravo, Petingola named Sault College Freshii Athletes of the Week
Men’s Soccer player Abraham Bravo & Women’s Soccer player Jayna Petingola have been named Sault College’s Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 3, 2024.
Bravo, a 1st year civil engineering student from Guadalajara, Mexico starred for the men’s indoor soccer team at the OCAA Regionals this past week. Bravo scored 3 goals across 4 games, including the game winner against Laurier-Brantford. Way to go Abraham!
Petingola, a 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from Sault Ste. Marie, ON stood tall in net this past week as Cougars indoor soccer travelled to Vaughn for the OCAA Regional playoffs. Petingola led the showcase in shots faced and battled hard throughout the competition. Great work Jayna!
