Blixt named Sault College's Top International Athlete

Blixt named Sault College's Top International Athlete

Bryce Blixt of the Sault College Men's Baseball team was named the Top International Athlete last week at the annual Athletic Awards Banquet. Blixt is a first year Sports Administration student from Manistique, Michigan.

Bryce is the ultimate team player in that he accepted whatever role that the coaching staff asked of him. Despite not having pitched much in high school he put forth his best effort at all times to help our pitching staff. Bryce became a dependable and responsible outfielder. He started to become an offensive threat highlighted by having 3 hits including a double, sacrifice fly and 5 RBI's in a doubleheader sweep of the Seneca Sting. Unfortunately he suffered an injury that kept him out of the lineup for a period of time. During that time Bryce worked hard at rehab while continuing to come to practice and games encouraging his team mates. Bryce also excelled in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA in his 1st yr. of Sports Administration.

We are looking for Bryce to help lead our team to the playoffs in 2024.
