Bio

Nicola is a Certified Athletic Therapist who began working with Sault College Athletics in 2011.  Since the opening of the new Health & Wellness building in 2013, she can be found at the main desk in the Athletic Department providing customer service to students, staff, and the general public.  Nicola also assists in day-to-day operations of the department – dealing with the varying aspects of the varsity programs and fitness centre.

While still providing some Athletic Therapy coverage with Sault College Varsity teams and teams throughout the community, she has shifted her focus towards concussion management and put in the footwork to open Sault Concussion Clinic in 2016 – Sault Ste. Marie’s only CCMI certified clinic.  Nicola graduated with her Bachelor of Science – Athletic Training from Lake Superior State University and was the first CCMI Certified Concussion Practitioner in the city.
