Bio

Alex is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach with the Sault College Men's Hockey program.  Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Alex played hockey locally before shifting focus to officiating in 2008, skating at both the Junior A and OHL level for 6 seasons. He began coaching in 2014 and progressed through the minor hockey ranks at the AA and AAA levels, before making the transition to College hockey.  Alex is High Performance 1 Certified, and is also a Hockey Canada Development 1 Coach Evaluator. He has spent countless hours over the years developing and delivering both on and off-ice hockey clinics for players, officials and coaches, alike.
