The Sault College Women's Hockey team under Head Coach Chad Mousseau went head to head against the Davenport University Panthers in ACHA – Exhibition play at the Rankin Arena Friday September 28, 2018. With their first exhibition game of the season under their belt, they are ready to hit the road with action against Michigan State, Adrian College, Finlandia University and Central Michigan University.
The Cougars had a hard fought battle resulting in a 3-1 loss. The Cougars held the lead through most of the first period with a goal from Rachel Barban. Davenport responded with a goal in each period from Adrianna Lett, Caitlin Miscovich and Karly Ellis. The Cougars attempted to even out the score at the end of the 3rd period with multiple scoring opportunities turned away by Davenport's goalie, Julia Gaynor.

The Sault College Women's Hockey team played their 2nd game of this weekend's series against the Davenport Panther's this afternoon.
The Cougar's Mackenzie Nadeau opened the scoring at the 7:54 mark in the 1st period before Davenport's Caitlin Miscovich and Courtney Mulligan answered with 3 goals within the 1st and 2nd period. The Cougars battled back in the 3rd with the lone 3rd period goal from Megan Turcotte at the 5:31 mark.
The Cougars coaching staff Chad Mousseau and Danny Lambert are pleased with their team's opening games of the season and are excited to compete against ACHA Division 2 teams.
