Cougars take on the Spartans
The women's team traveled to Michigan State to play their division 2 team. Erin Gillespie started of the first period scoring for the Cougars, who took a commanding 5-1 lead in the first. The first period saw six different people score for the Cougars.
The Spartans showed improvement in the second period that held the Cougars to a single goal in the second, provided by Kaitlyn Lambert-Mousseau.
The Cougars played an excellent third period which saw the Cougars out score the Spartans 4 -0.

Cougars win both games this weekend
A competitive game broke out in the first period of action on Sunday as both teams were held off the scoreboard.
Kaitlyn Lambert-Mousseau started off the scoring for Cougars quickly at the start of the second period, this saw the Cougars light a spark leading to a 3-0 lead at the end of the second.
In the third period the Cougars were able to score two more goals, the Cougars were able to hold the Spartans off the scoreboard giving Amanda Coulis a shutout.
