Sault Cougars fall to the Finlandia Lions
The Sault College Cougars Women's team travelled to Hancock Michigan to compete against Finlandia University. The Cougars with a 2-2-0 Collegiate level exhibition record this season knew they were coming in to compete against a team that is hungry for their first win. The Lions are 0-15 in their season but compete in tough league (NCHA).
The Cougars battled hard through to the end of a 13-0 loss and will face off against the Lions again Saturday January 12th at 2:00pm.

The Sault College Cougars Women's team rebounded with a stronger 2nd game against Finlandia Lions (NCHA team) on Saturday January 12th. Finlandia continued with strong play, testing goalie Katrina Simon while Coleen O'Neil and Kaitlyn Lambert-Mousseau added goals for the Cougars in the 1st and 3rd period. This game completed the weekend series with their second loss at 7-2.

Next Cougars Women's Hockey action will be January 26 and 27 when they travel to Adrian College who is ranked 9th in the ACHA D2 West Region.
