Bio

Brianne is entering her third year as the head coach for the women’s hockey team. After playing minor hockey in Sault Ste. Marie, Brianne continued her hockey career at Brock University, where she played five seasons with the Badgers. As an Assistant Captain for the Badgers, Brianne devoted her spare time to running hockey camps in the Niagara region and was a special guest for two summers at a girl’s hockey camp in Karlstad, Sweden. After graduating, she continued her education at George Brown College and received a post-graduate diploma in Sport and Event Marketing. While living in Toronto, Brianne interned with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Community Relations and Player Development department and was part of the Toronto Marlies Game Day Operations team.

She is the owner and lead instructor of Northern Elite Female Hockey Academy, where she develops female athletes of all ages to continue growing the sport of hockey.

Brianne has received the Sault College Athletics Coach of the Year award two years in a row, with a record of 43 wins, 6 losses and one tie. In 2023, the Cougars celebrated a 31-0-0 record and were named ACHA National Champions after a 6-1 win over Northeastern University.
