    Assistant Coach

Bio

Megan is entering her second season as an assistant coach. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, she played in the Sault Female Hockey Association (SFHA) and was the captain of her U18AA Wildcats.

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Brock University, she began working with the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club of the Ontario Hockey League. During her time with the Greyhounds, Megan gained experience in many areas and was the Director of Game Day Operations and Merchandising for four years.

In 2018, Megan began coaching with the SFHA, helping as an assistant coach with the U15 AA Wildcats/Greyhounds teams. She was also on the SFHA board as the Director of Player/Coach Development for one year before dedicating her time to the U18 program.

For the last two seasons, Megan has been an assistant coach with the Soo Jr. Greyhounds Girls U18 AA team and as a familiar face, she has helped our local athletes transition from high school to college hockey. Dubas was a key contributor behind the bench during the 22-23 season when the Cougars celebrated a 31-0-0 record and were named ACHA National Champions after a 6-1 win over Northeastern University.
