Cougars Pounce on Everyone
Day two is in the books at the OCAA Curling Championships, presented by belairdirect and hosted by Mohawk College in Hamilton, at the 100 year old Glendale Golf and Country Club in Hamilton.
Crowds have been growing as the action heads to the weekend.
In men's play, there's a great battle for top spot. Nick Servant improved to 4-0, just ahead of both Sean Armstrong of Humber and Charlie Richard of Fanshawe, at 3-1. Fleming's Spencer Cheesman and Confederation's Kurtwood McGuire are each 1-3 and host Mohawk, skipped by Dylan Robertson, is 0-4.
In women's play Humber's Cassie Paccanaro sits first at 3-1. Kaitlyn Poirier's rink from Fanshawe moved to 2-1, Fleming's Paige Droog and Mohawk's Alex Nunes are each 1-2, while the Sault's Taylor Longo is 1-3.
Finally, in mixed, Humber's Jonah Paquette is 2-1, Fanshawe's Brett Henderson is 2-2 and Confederation's Faith Herbert is 1-2.

Play resumes Saturday at 9:00 am with Draw 7, when Fleming meets Fanshawe and Mohawk plays the Sault in women's action and in men's it's Fleming vs Mohawk, Confederation against Humber and Fanshawe plays the Sault.
