Robert, Lee Named Sault College Freshii Athletes of the Week

Emma Lee of the Women’s Hockey Team and Evan Robert of the Men’s Curling Team have been named Sault College’s Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 17, 2024.

Lee, a third year Natural Environment Technician student from Delta, British Columbia was named MVP at the ACHA National Championships. Lee led Sault College to a championship, registering 7 goals and 2 assists over 4 games including 2 goals and the game winner in their 3-0 championship victory. Way to go Emma!

Robert, a first year Aviation student from Sault Ste. Marie, ON was a consistent force for Cougars Curling over the past week as they competed at the CCAA National Championship. Evan curled at a tournament rate of approximately 88% as Sault College finished their tournament with a 3-4 record and was named a second team All-Star! Great work Evan!
