Kovacs, Oldham named Freshii Athletes of the Week!
Men’s hockey players Jake Kovacs & Russell Oldham have been named Sault College’s Freshii Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 24th, 2024.
Kovacs, a first-year Electrical Engineering Technician student from Sault Ste. Marie, ON was a top offensive contributor for the Cougars over the weekend. He led the team on Friday with 4 points (2G, 2A) and followed up with a goal in Saturday’s game. Kovacs provided solid two-way play helping to secure a pair of key victories. Great work Jake!
Oldham, a third-year Sports Administration student from St. Thomas, ON helped the Cougars to a pair of victories over the weekend. Oldham started the weekend off with a goal on Friday night before a 5-point performance (2G, 3A) on Saturday to pace the Cougars offensively. Way to go Russell!
