Bio
Brianne is a graduate of Brock University where she completed a Bachelor of Education and and Bachelor of Physical Education. After graduating, she continued her education at George Brown College and received a post-graduate diploma in Sport and Event Marketing. While living in Toronto, Brianne interned with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Community Relations and Player Development department and was part of the Toronto Marlies Game Day Operations team.
Brianne recently retired after five seasons as the head coach for the women’s hockey team. After playing minor hockey in Sault Ste. Marie, Brianne continued her hockey career at Brock University, where she played five seasons with the Badgers. As an Assistant Captain for the Badgers, Brianne devoted her spare time to running hockey camps in the Niagara region and was a special guest for two summers at a girl’s hockey camp in Karlstad, Sweden.
She is the owner and lead instructor of Northern Elite Female Hockey Academy, where she develops female athletes of all ages to continue growing the sport of hockey.
In 2023, the Cougars celebrated a 31-0-0 record and were named ACHA National Champions after a 6-1 win over Northeastern University. The team continued to excel in ACHA Division 2, winning three consecutive National Championships. In four seasons as the head coach of the Cougars, she ended her career with a 95-8-4 record.
